As usual I haven't posted here for a long time. I have been home for a month or more now so there has been no excuse. I haven't been writing much as I have had other things on my plate including our grandson, but it's time to get back to it. I have had a few book signings around town and have sold a few books but the weather  has been nice which keeps people out of the stores so my sales have been down. Still getting some books out of my closet.

Even my reading has been slow this past month as I can't seem to find time for that either. All this needs to change and I hope it does soon. Still a couple of months before we head out on the road again so will be spending the summer in Calgary.

Short post today but needed to get something out there and keep this post alive. Take care.

This is my first post in a long time. We've been on the road for a month now and are currently in Langkawi Malasia. The first month was spent in Thailand including Bangkok, Phuket, Ao Nang, and Kho Lanta.

The trip from Kho Lanta to Langkawi took most of yesterday with first a Tuk Tuk ride to a van which took us to the bus station in Trang. We changed vans and drove to Satun where we picked up a songtheu which took us to the pier. We went through Thailand exit immigration and then took the ferry to Langkawi where we went through Malasian immigration. We then caught a taxi to our hotel. We left at eight in the morning and got in around seven thirty that night. We did however lose an hour so it was only ten and a half hour trip. Made for a long but interesting day.

Book sales continue to be dismal but that's a lot my fault. I haven't been working it. I have been writing a little and have come up with a name for the eighth book in the Tannion series. I am almost forty thousand words in and am now calling it 'Tannion Revenge'. Maybe the name will stick.

Got to go as it's almost time to take in the sunset off the rooftop of our hotel and we've been told it's amazing.

Hi. I hope everyone is looking forward to a great Christmas where ever you are. Carrole and I just returned from a three week cruise around the Caribbean. Weather was decent most of the time and we saw several islands that we have never been to before as well as a few which we have. We are now up to 90 countries visited. We spent 4 days in Fort Lauderdale after the cruise and got home on Friday. Now for Christmas and then the next trip.

I have to admit though that I am a bit disappointed. Before we left I had a giveaway of my book Tannion and 275 books were given away for free. I was hoping that by now a few would have been read and maybe I would get some feedback in the form of reviews, but as of today, I haven't received any new reviews good or bad. I was hoping for at least a few,

On more positive notes I was able to spend some time writing and reviewing as well as reading while we were gone. I can now say that my fourteenth book is now written. My science fiction book titled 'Serus II' has been completed which of course means that the work has just begun. Now for a major rewrite and editing. I have also been editing and I have completed work on Tannion Undercover (Book 5 in the Tannion Series). I am working on the eighth book in the Tannion series as well. I have the fourth book in the Tannion Series ready to go to my editor but I am holding off for a while. I am still hoping for more sales and more reviews.

That's all for now and probably until next year so have a great Christmas and a happy new year.

Hi there. I started a five day free session on amazon for my book Tannion (Book 1 in the Tannion Series) yesterday and I have had more than 100 people download the book so far. It's free so if you haven't gotten yours yet, by all means go to - http://goo.gl/PRkIAb and pick up a copy. The ebook is free for the taking.

Overall it's been a good couple of weeks. Tannion Donning Gray (Book 3 in the Tannion Series) is now available on amazon.com. I am looking for any and all reviewers and hopefully a few of those who have picked up book 1 will like it enough to continue the series.

Have a great week.

Happy Tuesday. Monday wasn't so bad either.  I did have a good weekend though. I did two book signings and managed to sell 18 copies. Based on what I have done before and what I have been told, it was a very good weekend.

In addition I cut my book signing on Sunday short as it was my grandson's first birthday party and today was officially his birthday. Hard to believe a year has gone by so fast, but it's also hard to believe it's been only a year. Seems he has been around forever.

I am getting very close to having the third book in the Tannion Series, 'Tannion Donning Gray,' published. On the last stages and only waiting for the publisher to give me the go ahead to finish and then I will get a proof, buy some copies and put it on Amazon.

With 'Tannion Donning Gray' near completion, I have had time to do some actual writing and have added a few words to my sci-fi novel 'Serus II', With luck I should have it finished in a few weeks. All I need to do is figure out how it is going to end.

Staying home for all of October, doing some baby sitting but expect to hit the trails again in November. Will talk to you again soon.

HI. It's so good to have my website back. Due to issues that were well within my control, but were missed, my site has been down for the last month or more. Now with it back up, I need to update everything and make sure it is in good working order.

First to tell you what has happened while I was gone. My books Tannion and Tannion Stepping Out, the first two books in the Tannion series, are now available at select book stores in Calgary. It is in a few of the Indigo-Chapters stores as well as Owls Nest Books and Shelf Life Books.

As well I have done four book signings at two Indigo Stores and have 3 more signings in September as well as one in October. My signings have gone well according to the store with almost 10 books sold at each location each day. Not going to make any money at that rate, but I am slowly getting my name out there.

I have also been talking to the local newspaper about an article and had my old home town paper request my press release. Hoping for more from that in the future.

I haven't stopped writing but sometimes it feels that way. The third book in the Tannion Series - Tannion Donning Gray, is almost ready to go to press. It should be out in a few weeks at the latest. I am also almost finished my last proof read of the fourth book in the series, Tannion Future Past, getting it ready to go to the editor. While all this is going on, I am slowly working my way through my science fiction book titled Serus II. It is more than 50 thousand words, but without getting into it more full time, I am finding it a bit of a struggle. I hope to finish it this fall, but I have so many to publish ahead of it, it may never see the light of day.

Sorry to run on so much, but it has been a while. With my site up and running I hope to do a better job of posting in the future.

June 29th.

Had my second book signing yesterday. It went well enough as I am getting more comfortable in getting people to talk to me. Once they get to the table and pick up the book I have had good success. It was too nice a day in town so the store wasn't as busy as it usually is on a Sunday, but I managed to sell a few books.

The next book in the Tannion series - 'Tannion Donning Gray ' is nearing the end of editing and I hope to have it out by the end of August. I have been self editing the fourth book in the series 'Tannion Future Past' trying to get it ready to send to my editor. I like to have it as good as I can before she gets it.

I am writing again as well. Working on my science fiction book I started a couple of years ago. Probably about half done but now seem to have a good direction for it after been stuck for a while.

That's all for this week. Good reading
